She enjoyed combining a rewarding business career with active participation in community affairs and the needs of others. She was a sustaining member of the Junior League of Binghamton, and a recipient of the Watrous Bowl for outstanding public service, past President of Monday Afternoon Club and Phelps Mansion Foundation, a volunteer for “Crisis Call”, a member of the Binghamton Club, an early Member of Roberson, VP of Broadway Theatre League, a founder of 1st Committee of Bank Women of NY State, member and Treasurer of National Secretaries Association, Charter member of the First Women’s Auxiliary of the Opera, member of the Triple Cities Business and Professional Women’s Club, and was a TV commentator on WNBF-TV’s “Fashion’s for M’Lady”.  Tweety is a member of the Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
