Bonnie L. (Crystal) Marks

Bonnie Lorraine Marks (Crystal) Bonnie Marks of Binghamton, NY and Boynton Beach, FL passed away Friday, July 21st after a year-long battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Ethel Crystal and her son-in-law, Robert Weisbrot. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Josef B. Marks, her children Jeffrey (Judy) Marks of Potomac, MD and Cheryl Weisbrot of Montville, NJ, her granddaughter Sasha Marks of Washington DC, her sister Dorothy (Luis) Conte and her brother Robert (Asako) Crystal. Bonnie and Joe were always together, working at the Marks Agency for many years until they retired to Florida thirty years ago where she continued playing golf and bridge, providing interior design services, and enjoying an active social life with Joe and their many friends. Bonnie was active in Sisterhood and the Membership committee of Temple Concord. She was known for her passion for interior design, cooking and entertaining. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at Temple Concord, 9 Riverside Drive Binghamton, NY at Monday, July 24th at 1pm, with visitation starting at noon. The internment at the Temple Israel-Riverside Cemetery in Conklin, NY will be followed by the meal of consolation at Temple Concord. Friends are invited to be with the family for the meal and afternoon including an afternoon shiva service. Shiva will also be observed at 9 Cobblestone Terrace in Montville, NJ from 4pm – 8pm on Tuesday, July 25th, and friends will be received in Potomac, MD at a later date.
