My deepest sympathy to Ruthanne and this wonderful Family. Buddy was a great man, I never saw him without a smile on his face. I would agree with Rudyard Kipling about this "gentle man". All who knew him loved him. sincerely, Florence Cohn

Our condolences to the Koffman family. Can't say enough good things about Bud as an adviser, a respected business man, but most of all as a friend. He will be missed.

Dear Ruthanne, and Kids.
Barbara and I were sad to learn of Buddy's passing.
I will always remember his friendly demeanor and his big smile.
The only complaint I ever heard from him was about his 'damn knee'.
Please accept our condolences.

Buddy was a fellow member of Vestal Hills Country Club in the early 2000s. When I announced my candidacy for town of Vestal Supervisor, Buddy was among the most generous contributors to my campaign. I was astounded that he would be so generous to a person he knew only through Country Club membership and golf league fellowship. He wanted nothing in return except good representation from me had I won the election.

Dear Koffman family
Bud Koffman was a special man. It is rare to find a man who can be a high stakes, winning negotiator one minute and a caring donator of his time and money the next minute. So many will remember him for his professional and business accomplishments; deals won, businesses bought, grown, and sold, profits made, etc., but I will remember him most for his ability to care for and take a genuine heartfelt interest in those around him. I speak from personal experience. Bud hired me fresh out of college when I knew nothing. He was then a world travelling raconteur, busy making deals with icons in the business and finance world, yet he made the time to take a personal interest in me and give me a start in business. That is what separates Bud from so many other great people and makes him a uniquely special person. I will forever be grateful to Bud and will remember him forever.
May God shower your family with his grace and peace during this time.
All my love, Richie Cline
