Jed graduated from Binghamton Central High School in 1976, he was a proud member of the Bulldogs as a football player, and received many honors as a track athlete as well, also went on to play football at Ithaca College for Coach Butterfield. Jed was a History Major who found his calling as a developmental disabilities specialist, helping those who could not help themselves. He was an employee of the Greater Binghamton Health Center, and later at Broome Developmental Center. He was widely respected in his community and will be sadly missed by all. Of his many interests, music and history would be at the top of his list, the holidays were especially fun when we would have conversations and Jed was always willing to lend his knowledge to help solve the debate! Jed’s’ will to survive was an absolute testimony to life itself. And for all those who were fortunate to have crossed his path in life, we are all better for it. GODSPEED.
