Alice M. Savich, 87, of Binghamton passed away Tuesday August 28, 2012 at the Susquehanna Nursing Home.
Born August 29, 1924 , in Johnson City NY the daughter of the late Lillian (Leedom) and Andrew DuBrava, and loving wife of the late John Savich. She was also predeceased by her brothers Donald,and Edwin,her sister Doris Cribbs, sisters in law Mary Jane DuBrava, Betty (John) Dellapenna, Isabelle Stepneski, and her brother in law, Michael Savich.
Alice was a former employee of Fairplay Caramels and retired from Broome Community College Library. Alice loved her family , her many dear friends and had a deep true love for flowers.
Surviving her are her two special nephews, Gerald Novak, of Whitney Point and James Buhay. Her extended family: Mary DuBrava, of Endicott, Olga Savich, of Binghamton, Anthony Stepneski, of Johnson City, Jeri Savich of Johnson City, and Richard Cribbs of Tuscon, AZ. Alice is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
It was Alices’ wish there be no formal funeral services. Friends and family are invited to call Wednesday Evening from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Ernest H.
