Barbara T. (Troeger) Talcott

Barbara T. Talcott, 65 , of Binghamton, passed away Saturday August 21, 2010 at her home. Born February 4th, 1945 in Manhattan, NY the daughter of the Late Hans W. and Alice (French) Troeger. Barbara was also predeceased by her two brothers Thomas and John Troeger

Barbara graduated from Broome Community College with a degree in Applied Science. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was her family especially her children and grandchildren . She was a very active member of the First Church of The Nazarene on Chenango Street in Binghamton.

Surviving Barbara are her husband Joseph W. Talcott at home, her children daughter Tana Elmarhouri, of Phoenix, AZ her sons: Timothy (Julie) Rogers, of Binghamton, NY, Jeffery Rogers, of Chandler, AZ., and Brendon (Laura) Murray, of Vestal, NY. Barbara is also survived by seven grandchildren, numerous, nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as her newly discovered birth parents, her mother Ruth Montrose (deceased) and her father, John Hartman, of Walden, NY, and brothers Robert (Annette) Hartman, James (Mandy) Hartman both of New Jersey.

Funeral Services will be held Friday August 27 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home, Inc. 71 Main Street Binghamton NY. Reverend Robert ST. Clair of First Church of The Nazarene will officiate. Internment will follow at Chenango Valley Cemetery. Family and Friends are invited to call at the funeral home Thursday August 26 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00.
