Charles Mulesky, Jr.
Of Binghamton
Charles Mulesky, Jr., 74 passed away July 26, 2013 at his home after an extended illness.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia Mulesky, his children; Michael (Beatriz) Mulesky, Robert (Erin) Mulesky, beloved grandchildren, Jacob, Natalie, Cade and Kellen, brother Alan, brother and sister in law John (Ida) Bowers, sister in law June Mead, several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Chuck was a proud graduate of Union Endicott High School and Broome Community College, playing baseball and football. He retired as a Senior Professional Representative for Sandoz/Novartis Pharmaceutical Company after 34 years of service. He served with the New York State National Guard. He so enjoyed playing volleyball, golf, tennis, and vacationing at the beach over the years. He was a longtime member of the YMCA “gym Rats” playing handball and volleyball. Chuck coached the BCC Women’s volleyball team in the 1980’s and also coached youth baseball. He was a longtime member and director of the Town of Chenango Parks and recreation Committee, being instrumental in the formation of Wolfe Park and the Otsiningo River Walk. Later Chuck became a College and High School Volleyball Referee for many years.
Chuck believed in positively encouraging young people to move forward with their lives, this included his children and grandchildren. He was the consummate “prankster’ playing numerous “great ones” on his family and friends. He was a huge fan of Syracuse University and the New York Yankees. Get him on the golf course and he’s’ in paradise. Hit them long and straight Chuck . We Love You.
A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all how I was truly blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls.
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin,
Until the day comes we’re together again.”
