Cheryl L Salvemini

Cheryl Salvemini, 54, of Whitney Point passed away Sunday, August 18, from a short illness. She is survived by her husband of 33 years Andrew “Andy” Salvemini; daughters Erin, Ashley and Emily; siblings Karen, Ricky, and Johnny; and her father Gary along with nieces Alicia and Jessica, and nephews Michael and Chad. She was predeceased by her mother Helen Kuehl; and her brother Michael “Chezzy” Dougherty.

Cheryl’s home was filled with life, love and laughter, she was a kind, selfless, and strong woman. Loving the holidays, she made them magical for friends and family alike. She made her house a home. She was the quintessential mother, wife, sister, and friend to all. She loved her animals, especially her dog Mr. Bolt. She took long walks with her husband, she was there any time anyone needed her, if you called, she answered. She loved doing things for others such as sewing, cooking, quilting, and doing anything for her daughters and friends, such as driving them to sports, dance, music and anywhere else they needed to go.

Services will be held Friday, August 23 at E H Parsons Funeral Home at 11:00 am. Friends may come to call Thursday, August 22 at the funeral home from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. There will be a private burial at Holy Spirit Cemetery at the family's convenience.
