Chester W. Sherwood, of Binghamton passed away on September 27, 2013.
He is survived by his wife Linda, children Karen (Keith) MacElhone, of New Smyrna Beach, FL., Darlene(Ed) Gates, of Morris, Daniel (Maria) Sherwood, of Sidney, Janice (Steve) Nickerson, of Afton, Deborah (Kim) Schieferstein, of Wellston, NC., John (Barbara) Sherwood, of Palm Coast, FL., Maryann (Mark) Buchett, of Binghamton, Shannon (Thomas)Walsh, of Windsor, also 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren .

Chester retired from the Navy serving in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. He also worked as a school bus driver for many years and a volunteer at Lourdes and Meals on Wheels.
