Darlene L. (Schmidt) McLain

Darlene Schmidt-Corbin-McLain, 55 of Endicott, NY crossed over unexpectedly on October 30, 2011 and was greeted by her husband Chuck Corbin and son Chad Corbin, mother-in-law Ronnie McLain, father-in-law Mac McLain and others she held dear.  Dar is survived by her mother Betty Schmidt; daughter Ami Corbin; grandchildren Tyler, Kyle, Seth, and Kayla; siblings Joyce, Ken, Keith, Brian, Bob, and Brenda; Adopted kids Melissa Darby and Angie Harris; adopted grandkids Makenzie, Jesse, Josh, Andra, Nichele, and Shaunn Jr.; Special family Critter, Dave, and Zach Jenkins, Esther Whitcomb, Todd McLain, and Pat Rybacki, along with many other friends and family.  Dar was also survived by her loving cat, Oinkus.  Dar had a wonderful spirit, an infectious laugh, and always made you feel loved.  Dar’s wishes were to be cremated and have a party in her honor.  Please join us Saturday November 5 from 12 to 4 at the VFW 103 Nanticoke Ave in Endicott to celebrate Dar’s life.  Dar didn’t want flowers in death, so those wishing to contribute can make a donation to her daughter, Ami, to help with the costs endured.
