Donald Norman Dutcher Of Binghamton Donald Norman Dutcher, 84, of Binghamton, passed away Saturday October 29th, 2016 surrounded by his loving family at Wilson Memorial Hospital.
Born February 19, 1932 in Johnson City, NY the son of the Late John J. and Helen P. (Maynard) Dutcher. Don was a graduate of Johnson City High School. He was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Navy onboard the USS Lake Champlain. Don continued his proud military service after the war in the Navy and the Army Reserves. Don was also very proud of his professional career as a recruiter/ quality engineer at several companies including CDI Corp, Universal Instruments, NCR and RCA where he worked on the Apollo program. Don loved his family and will be dearly missed.
Surviving Don are his loving wife of 57 years Mary (Fink) Dutcher, his two daughters and two granddaughters; Eileen and Jack Mizerak and their daughter Caitlin Mary Mizerak, all of Binghamton, Donna McClure of Pennsylvania, and her daughter Lindsey Meister, of Florida. He also survived by his sister in law, Alberta Dutcher, of Binghamton, NY as well as several brother-sister in laws, nieces, and nephews.
