Enright, Edythe Ann (Torkelson)

Edythe Ann Enright (Torkelson), devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed away October 1, 2013 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by her brothers, David and Edwin Torkelson. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Thomas Enright; and her children, Nancy and Mickey McKane, Bob and Marcia Enright, Jim and Claudia Enright, Peggy and Chris McAuliffe and Laurie and Tom Dougherty. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Marissa Todd, Natassia (Rick) Degraw, Seamus and Aidan Enright, Monica and Ryan Enright, James and Dan McAuliffe, Bethany (John) Peterson, Dylan and Brad Dougherty. She is also survived by her sisters, Betty (Ernie) Schmidt and Ginny (Bob) Carter; and many nieces and nephews. Edythe's life was centered around her family. She loved family dinners and holidays, time in the backyard pool, camping trips, and the many summers spent at the cottage on Page Lake. She loved to sew, craft, read, and dance with her husband. We will miss her physical presence in our family, but we each carry a part of her with us in our creativity, loyalty, and family values. Family and friends are invited to call Friday morning, October 4th, from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. at the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home, 71 Main Street, Binghamton, NY. A Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend William Puckey officiating. Interment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
