Eleanor (Lobley) Pierson, 92, formerly of Binghamton, passed away Saturday December 25th, 2010. Born July 14th, 1918 in Scranton PA. the daughter of the Late Herbert and Mary Lobley.
Eleanor married Eugene Pierson and they had celebrated their 69th anniversary this year. She and Eugene moved from Scranton to Binghamton (Conklin) in 1964.
Eleanor was a talented seamstress and worked in the 60s and 70s for Koehler's Furniture and Eureka Tent and Awning. She loved weekends away with a special group of friends, spending time in Florida, and being with family.
Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, Eugene Pierson, who passed away in September 2010.
She is survived by her two children, Eugene Pierson Jr., (Carol), Peckville, PA and Constance Clinton of Albany, NY Five grandchildren, Jay and Tiffany of Albany, NY and Mark, Marla, and Meredith of Peckville, PA and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday December 30th at 11:00 a.m. at the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home, Inc. 71 Main Street, Binghamton NY . In lieu of flowers, please donate to Shriners Children's Hospitals
