Helen Durr, 96, of, United Methodist Hilltop Campus, went to be with her Lord, November 9, 2012.
Born in Austria, on September 14, 1916 the daughter of the late Anna (Kresovato) and Michael Owczaryk. She was also predeceased by her husband Raymond Charles Durr, her sister Sophie Ellis, her brother Stanley Owczaryk, and granddaughter Susan Browne.
Helen was a homemaker, she loved her family, enjoyed Sewing Club at West Presbyterian and spending time at the Vestal Senior Center.
Surviving her are her daughter, Nancy J. (Ed) Duncan of Batavia, NY her grandchildren; Christyne (Mark) Ray, and Michael and David Brown, great grandchildren; Zachary, Sabrina, Amanda, Wyatt, Marisa, and Sean, and her great great granddaughter, Zoie. Helen is also survived by her sister in law, Louise Natzle and brother in law David Durr as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday November 28, 2012 at 1:30 at the chapel at United Methodist Hilltop Campus, Deyo Hill Road, Johnson City, NY.
