Ilene P. Turock, 91, of Binghamton passed away Monday August 20, 2012 at the Susquehanna Nursing Home.

Born December 22, 1920 in Binghamton NY the daughter of the Late Anna (Pluta) and Michael Pidlypchak, and loving wife of the late Frank Turock. Ilene was also predeceased by her brother Raymond Pidlypchak and her sister Mildred Behanick.

Ilene was a life long resident of Binghamton. She retired after many years of service from The Endicott Johnson Shoe Corp. She was a very active member of the Holy Spirit Church until her illness. Ilene was a kind and generous lady, loved by all who knew her.

Surviving her are her sister Margie Wyak, of Reno, Nevada, several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and many great, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call Thursday August 23 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home 71 Main Street Binghamton, NY. Panachida will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Divine Liturgy at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church. Internment will follow at Holy Spirit Cemetery.
