Jacob Goldstein

Jacob Goldstein, of Binghamton, passed away August 16, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Born December 11, 1931 in Binghamton, NY the son of the late Celia (Tucker) and Nathan Goldstein. Jacob graduated from North High and Broome Community College. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. Jacob retired from IBM as a Programmer/Systems Analyst and a very proud member of the Quarter Century Club. Jacob was an avid Yankee fan and enjoyed trout fishing. Surviving Jacob are his siblings: Ruth Goldstein, David (Ofelia) Goldstein, and Larry Goldstein, all of Binghamton. He is also survived by his extended family. Mark (Carole), Shawne (Edward), Cindy (Hank), Rachel (Kjell), Haakon, Natalie, Joseph, Jennifer (Ben), Brittany, Kayla, and Lauren. Funeral services will be held Sunday August 19, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home 71 Main St. Binghamton, NY. Rabbi Tziona Szajman will officiate.
