James “Jack” Higgins, 50, of Endicott passed away August 26, 2012 at Wilson Regional Medical Center, after losing his courageous battle with diabetes.
Born December 21, 1961 in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Lillian Gunther. James was one of ten children.
James as worked as a self employed vending machine distributor in Binghamton “ Jacks Vending” He loved to take long car rides, enjoyed a great debate, loved music and especially loved spending time with his family.
Surviving James are his loving companion of over thirteen years, Amy Hassinger; her children, Donavan, and Dominick. James also is survived by his children; Moet, Jamey, Sasha, Janice, Isaiah, Nicholas and Shelby, also seven grandchildren. James also leaves behind many extended family members and many close friends.
James’ family would like to extend sincere thanks to Dr. J. Bertini for the wonderful care and kindness he shared with James.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday September 1, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. at the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home 71 Main Street, Binghamton, NY. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. Please visit ParsonsFuneral.com to offer your condolences.
