Julia E. (Esther) Koffman, 95, of Binghamton, passed away Thursday November 29, 2012 at Elizabeth Church Manor, in Binghamton NY.
Born August 9, 1917, in Binghamton, NY, the daughter of the Late Gertrude (Terris) and Harry Barnett, and wife of the late Albert Koffman, She was also predeceased by her sister Faye Tinkleman.
Julia was a homemaker , her greatest joy was her family. She enjoyed many hobbies, travel, the Opera, ,theater, old movies and gardening. . She was a life long member of Temple Israel. She was a member of the Parlor City Hat Club, and a former member of the Binghamton Garden Club and the Monday Afternoon Club. Julia truly loved the Winter Home in Sanibel Island, FL.
Surviving her are her son, Barry (Bernadette) Koffman, of Binghamton, her grandson, Jason Koffman and great granddaughter Billie Stopyro, both of Minneapolis, MN, her brother, Bernie (Barb) Barnett, sister Anita Smith, both also of Minneapolis, MN. her brothers in law Bernie Tinkleman, of Binghamton, and Milton (Shirley) Koffman, of Palm Beach, FL. Julia is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins and special friends, Isabell Jahn and Linda Urso.

Gravesides Services will be held Monday December 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Temple Israel Riverside Cemetery, Conklin, NY with Rabbi Tziona Szajman officiating. Arrangements are with the Ernest H.
