Louis Rudolph Hrncirik
Louis Rudolph Hrncirik, 91 of Binghamton passed away Wednesday March 2nd, 2011 at United Health Services Wilson Hospital after a brief illness.
Born November 4, 1919 in Binghamton, NY the son of the Late Louis and Mary Hrncirik, and loving husband of the Late Marion Monica (Kovach) Hrncirik. Louis was also predeceased by his sister Camilla Rehak, and his brother Ted Hrncirik.
Louis was a member of Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church. He was a United States Navy Veteran serving during World War II. He worked as a data processor for thirty seven and a half years for the GAF Corporation in Johnson City, NY. "Poppa Louie" was the most gentle, kind, loving and sweetest man. He always had a smile for everyone he saw. He will be remembered always and loved forever.
Surviving Louis are his sons: Dennis (Jane) Hrncirik, Jim (Cathy)Hrncirik, his daughter Karen (Chuck #3 Son) Weintraub, his seven grand children Jeff, Jason, Matthew, and Andrew Hrncirik, Julie(David) Avery, Mark (Wendy) Weintraub and A.J.(Amy) Weintraub. Louis also is survived by seven great grandchildren: Jacob and Michael Hrncirik, Cameron and Alex Avery, and Jill ,Skylar and Dylan Weintraub. Louis' brother Steve(Marilyn) Hrncirik, his sisters Josie (Dick) Sirrianna and Mary Sirrianna and his sisters in law, Lillian Sherba and Marge Hrncirik also survive him as well as several nieces, and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call on the family Sunday March 6th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home 71 Main Street, Binghamton also Monday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 am at Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church Clinton Street Binghamton. Father John Cigan will offer Parastas at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. The Divine Liturgy will be offered Monday March 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with father John Cigan at Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Holy Spirit Cemetery in Kattelville.
