Maria (Serratelli) Smith

Maria was born February 10, 1948, in Newark NJ, the daughter of the late Raffaella (Lena Rossi) and Giacomo (Jack) Giovanni Serratelli.  Maria was the first female teaching assistant (TA) in the Department of Economics at SUNY Binghamton while earning her Masters Degree in Economics. Maria is survived by her two sisters; Angela Pecoraro and Jacqueline Lygate, brothers Jack, Peter and Dean Serratelli, six nieces, five nephews, two great nieces, and four great nephews who loved her dearly.
