Marjorie E. (Jones) Lieberum

Marjorie E. Lieberum, 96, of Binghamton, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Tuesday May 17, 2016. Born in Carbondale, PA. in 1919. Marge as she was known was predeceased by her parents, Vasser and Mabel Jones, sister Mary Romick, and her husband Rexford Sr. She is,survived by her daughter, Judy Bennett, her son Rexford (Carol Sue) Lieberum, Jr. and grandsons, Carl Scott, Brandon, and James, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by four legged, furry friends, cat Dinah, and horse Bart. She was a longtime member of the Nimmonsburg United Methodist Church. In her youth Marge was known as a horse woman, even competing in a horse jumping contest in Madison Square Garden.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday May 24, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home 71 Main Street, Binghamton, NY 13905 with Pastor Peggy Eller officiating. Internment will follow at Chenango Valley Cemetery.  Please visit ParsonsFuneral.com to offer your condolences.
