Martha Hammond (Hammond) Budd

Martha Hammond Budd, 86, formerly of Johnson City passed away January 16th, 2017 at Gilchrist Hospice Care in Columbia, MD after a battle with cancer and post surgery complications. She is predeceased by her parents, Lyman and Martha Hammond of Binghamton as well as a brother, Robert and wife Nancy Hammond of Pittsford, NY.  She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Jack Budd, Gaithersburg MD, son David Budd,(Julie) Poolesville, MD, three grandchildren Kirby, Justin and Patrick, her brothers, Lyman Hammond(Sarah) of Virginia Beach, VA, and Fred Hammond (Barbara)of Westlake OH, also many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was a member of United Presbyterian Church Binghamton NY.

A Memorial Service will be held at United Presbyterian Church, 42 Chenango Street, Binghamton on January 28th, 2017.  The family will receive friends at 10:00am with a Service at 11:00am.

Arrangements are being made by the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home, 71 Main Street, Binghamton.  Burial will be in Vestal Hills Cemetery, at the convenience of the family.
