She was born on October 25th, 1920 in Binghamton, NY, the daughter of the late Delia (Stone) and Warren Ford, and loving wife of Robert (Bob) Corbett Reynolds.
Mary was raised on Kattelville Road in Chenango Forks and graduated from Chenango Forks High School. She and Bob were married at Trinity Church in Binghamton on May 20th, 1944 and this year celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary. We remember Mary for her complete devotion to Bob and how much she enjoyed everything they did over their many years together. She was also a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and took great delight in all her family’s accomplishments.
Mary was an avid reader and enjoyed the Book Club at Hilltop. She especially enjoyed reading about the history of the area. Her favorite book was the “One Room Schools of The Town of Chenango”, which documented the early life of her family and friends. She was an accomplished Bridge player and played in a weekly group for over twenty years. She enjoyed her thirty-nine years living in Vestal and later her winters in Florida and summers at Oteyokwa Lake before moving to the Hilltop Campus.
