Michael T. Kostick, 76, of Binghamton passed away Sunday November 28, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Born December 21, 1933 in Binghamton, the son of the Late Elizabeth Cruty and Michael L. Kostick.
Michael has been a lifelong resident of Binghamton, he graduated from North High in 1952,and Broome Community College in 1959. He is a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. Michael worked as an Electrical Engineer for New York State Electric and Gas Company for twenty nine years before retiring in 1994. Michael was a member of Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church.
Surviving Michael are his brother and sister, Ronald J. Kostick, of Endicott, Joyce M. (Jim) Gillooly , of Fruita, Colorado, his nieces Sherry Gilloony, Janele (John) Green all of Colorado and his nephew Joseph (Annri) Kostick, of Hawaii.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday December 4th, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. with Panachida at the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home 71 Main Street Binghamton NY. followed at 10:00a.m. at Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church360 Clinton Street, Binghamton. Reverend John J. Cigan will celebrate the Divine Liturgy. Interment will follow at Holy Spirit Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday December 3rd from 2:00 to 4:00p.m. at the funeral home with Parastas at 4:00p.m.
