Nancy A. Marsaln, 60 , of Binghamton passed away Tuesday November 2nd, 2010, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Nancy was born April 5th, 1950 in Pittston, PA. the daughter of the Late Dorothy M. (Lee) and Robert Welch,. and loving wife of 43 years of Carl F. Marsaln. Nancy was also predeceased by an infant daughter Rebecca and her two brothers, John A. Welch and Robert J. Welch.
Nancy has lived in Binghamton for fifty years. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. She was an entrepreneur, owning and operating many stores in the area, the latest Sir -Plus Store in Binghamton. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all her had the pleasure to know her.
Surviving her are her husband Carl F. Marsaln, at home, her four children; Wendy Marsaln, of Endicott, Robin Marsaln, of Trinity, Alabama, Jacqueline (Robert) Neale, of Binghamton, and Michael Marsaln, also of Endicott. Nancy is also survived by her eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, her three sisters Carol (Arthur) VanEtten, Barbara (Arthur) Dunnier, Dorothy (Ron) Hovancik, and her brother Joseph (Linda) Welch as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to call Friday November 5th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home 71 Main Street, Binghamton NY. Nancy’s family will conduct a Celebration of Her Life at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
