Paulette (Hazilla) Williams

Paulette Williams (née Hazilla), 70, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2015 after an extended illness. She is predeceased by her husband, David Reese Williams and her brother, Dr. Michael Hazilla. She was a lifelong Binghamton resident. Beloved for her droll sense of humor, generosity and high-spirited and vivacious nature, she will be dearly missed by friends, family and neighbors.  Paulette spent much of her life caring for others and tending her neighborhood to ensure that Chapin Street is a block to be admired. She is survived by sisters Irene, Barbara Hazilla, MD (Nevada City, CA) and Marya, brother Jon, nieces Sarah and Kyra, great niece Greta, sister-in-law Susan O'Sullivan, stepson Jonathan (Jack) Williams and his wife Michele, stepdaughters Jennifer Costa and Sibyl Reynolds, nieces Sarah O'Sullivan McCullough and Kate O'Sullivan. A memorial service celebrating Paulette’s life will be held on Memorial Day weekend with details to follow.
