Rebecca Jean Brooks, of Binghamton passed away Sunday August 5th, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
Born August 7, 1952 in Maine, the daughter of the late Florence (Marr) and Lyman Fickett. Rebecca was also predeceased by her brother Lyman Fickett and her sister Pauline Fox.
Rebecca was very thoughtful of others, always willing to help those that needed it. She loved arts and crafts and playing Bingo. Her greatest joy was her family especially spending time with the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Those who knew her will truly miss her.
Surviving Rebecca are her children; Timothy Layton, Darrell Tarvin and Ericka Tarvin, all of Binghamton, her six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Wayne (Linda) Fickett, Chenango Forks and Bonnie Garris, of Florida as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.
