Richard S. Jallad

Richard S. Jallad, 69, of Binghamton, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2015.  Richard was born near Hollywood California and lived most of his life in Binghamton.  He was predeceased by his Father Yassin and mother Mary and many close family members.  He is survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews as well as a handful of close friends.  Richard was a Graduate of Binghamton Central High School and was a former GAF employee.  He joined the Marine Corps after High School and served for many years thereafter in the reserves and was a proud member of the American Legion Post 1645 in Binghamton. Richard was an adorable child and was selected as an infant by the Gerber Company to be the Gerber Baby. Throughout his lifetime he touched many with his kindness. Richard had a rare blood type and his greatest satisfaction in life was his donation of over 29 gallons of blood to the American Red Cross. He lived life on his own terms and will surely be missed.  The family will receive friends at the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home 71 Main Street, Binghamton, NY on Wednesday August 12th from 4:00 to 6:00pm. Followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00 pm.
