Rickie Dean Stratton, 61, husband, father, and grandfather, of 123 Bridge Street Apartment 102 Corning, NY passed away suddenly; born in Bath, New York on March 20, 1953. Rickie was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline (Bates) Stratton, and brother, Jerry Stratton. He is survived by his wife, Josie (Miller) Stratton, father, Gordon Stratton, three sisters, Sharon Stratton, Diane Stratton, and twin sister Vickie Stratton,  daughters Amy Jones (Jody),  Jessica Daugherty (Rick), Ashley Stratton (Dan), stepdaughters Stephanie Merola (Andy), Heather Paul (Scott), Kelly DeLorenzo (Louie),  stepson Brandon LaPierre and eighteen grandchildren.  Rickie was a Corning East High School graduate. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed the lake, hunting, fishing, gardening and writing poetry.  In addition, he was a chef at heart and always looked forward to sharing his cooking and canning specialties with friends and family.
