Robert John Moreiko, Sr.
April 19, 1920 - April 23, 2016
Bob went to be with the Lord April 23, 2016 at the age of 96 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
He was pre-deceased by his loving wife Florence (Suchocki) Moreiko, his daughter Valerie Ann Richards his parents Viola and John and 4 brothers James, John, Edward and Carl and sister Dee. He is survived by his son, Robert John Moreiko Jr (Tracy) of Windsor CA, sister-in-law Margaret Suhosky of Forest City PA along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends nationwide. Bob was born in Dickson City, PA. A WWII veteran, he served in the Heroic Navy Seaplane Squadron VPB 26. He and Florence moved to Binghamton to raise their family more than 50 years ago where he worked at Singer-Link Co. Upon retiring he and Florence traveled to many Naval reunions across this great country that he loved so much. They also traveled to Alaska, Hawaii and to every state in the US, often times to visit their son in California and Las Vegas. He loved hunting, fishing, and his Yankees as well as going to Scranton for Coney Island dogs, to Forest City for Keilbasa and listening to Polkas on Sundays. He will be missed by many.
