Robert E. Williams, Jr, “Bobby”, as he was known by his family and friends, 56, died Monday, September 8, 2014. He was predeceased by his father, Robert E. Williams Sr. He is survived by his mother, H. Anna Lasher-Smith, his daughter, Sierra Michelle Williams, Tampa, Florida, his girlfriend, D. Morgan Butterfield, of Kansas, his sisters, Michelle Lovblom of Austin, Texas, his sister, Kimberly Molyneaux of Houston,Texas, his sister, Kathryn Densmore, his sisters,Tammy Kendrick, and Tonya McNeese, both of Columbia, Mississippi, and his brother Keith Smith of Endicott, and eighteen nieces and nephews spread across the country. Bobby worked as a cook for several restaurants. One of his passions was cooking.
Bobby will be remembered as one who truly loved his parents, and Gramma Williams. He had a great sense of humor, was known for his extreme generosity, his love of fishing and sports, especially baseball, and for being a fanatical fan of The New York Yankees! Bobby was a Christian, and loved The Lord. He will be greatly missed by the many loved ones who were there for him on countless occasions.
Family and friends are invited to call Friday, September 12th, from 3:00 to 4:00 pm, at the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home 71 Main Street, Binghamton, NY. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home at 4:00 pm with Reverend Rebecca Kimdig of Binghamton United Presbyterian Church.
