Rollin Gary Roby 0ctober 18, 1944 – January 11, 2021Gary Roby passed away on Tuesday January 11 at the Fairview Nursing Home in Binghamton from the complications from a major stroke that he had several years ago. Born October 18, 1944 and he was the first of seven children in the Roby family. A private family service will be held at a later date. Gary was the son of the late Rollin G. Roby and Margaret A. (Peg) Roby. Gary was an excellent baseball player and graduated in 1962 from Susquehanna Valley High School. He was an Air Force veteran who enjoyed hunting and fishing. After being discharged from the Air Force he earned his Electrical Engineering degree and worked for Links in the flight simulation division for nearly 40 years .Gary will be missed by his friends and family who knew him for his stories, wit and humor. He is survived by his brothers, Ritch - Greensboro, NC, Mike - Albany, NY. Curt, - Midlothian, VA., Jon and Dave – Binghamton, NY.
