Ronald Glenn Lawrence, 75, of Endicott passed away unexpectedly Saturday May 18, 2013 at his home.
Born November 16, 1937, in Kingston, NY the son of the late Walter and Margaret (Finch) Lawrence, and loving husband of Judith Lawrence.
Ronald graduated from Kingston High School and Broome Community College. He served with the Army National Guard and was honorably discharged. Ronald worked as a mortgage banker his entire career at various banks in and outside of the area, retiring from Security Mutual Life Insurance Company, as the Director of Mortgage Investments. He was a member of Endwell United Methodist Church, a long time member of the Lions Club, at the time of his death his was a Certified Mentor for SCORE; a volunteer for Faith in Action, and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
Surviving Ronald are his wife of 52 years, Judith Lawrence, of Endicott, daughters ; Kristine Lawrence, of Rochester, NY, Kimberly (Robert) Lawrence Pappas Miller, Salisbury Mills, NY, his granddaughters; Kaitlyn and Marissa Pappas, Salisbury Mills, NY. Also surviving Ronald are his brother and sister in law Vincent (June) Lawrence, of Syracuse, NY his sister Reta Roth, of Kingston, NY, a niece, two nephews, and his faithful pet poodle “Babette”.
Family and Friends are invited to call Tuesday May 28, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home 71 Main Street, Binghamton NY . A Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Internment will follow at Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Those wishing may direct memorial to either; Meals on Wheels -W Broome 705 W.
