Welcome to the memorial page for

Roselyn (Rozen) Rosenbaum

April 10, 1930 ~ November 7, 2016 (age 86) 86 Years Old
With love to Mom,

Roselyn Rosenbaum of Binghamton, died peacefully in her home on November 7th, at the age of 86.

Rozzie was blessed to have grown up in the best times of the Parlor City, and spent her entire life in Binghamton. She was lovingly devoted to her wonderful parents Charles and Sylvia Rozen of Binghamton, her brothers Hillard and Hersh Rozen of Binghamton, her husband of 66 years, Bert Rosenbaum of Binghamton, and to their four children.

Roz was an active member of Binghamton's Jewish community, volunteering her time and serving as a leading member of the Temple Israel Sisterhood, the Jewish Community Center Federation and the UJA. Roz also enjoyed her activities as a tennis player and golfer until late in life. To her many, many, long time acquaintances she was an intelligent, honest and faithful friend and confidant who will be dearly missed. Roz was a gifted socializer who kept in close contact with many of her life long Binghamton friends.

She is survived by her family, brother Hersh (and Beverly) Rozen of Binghamton, children Scott (and Edna) of Tucson AZ, Leonard of Binghamton, Bob (and Etty) of Binyamina Israel, and Suzanne of Binghamton and also numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, November 11, at the Temple Israel Cemetery, Conklin, NY. The family will receive visitors following the funeral and for Shiva at the home of Hersh and Beverly Rozen.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made to Temple Israel in Vestal, NY.
