Barlow, Ruth A, 93 of Binghamton passed away peacefully surrounded by her family April 4, 2012 at Lourdes Hospital.
Born December 12, 1918, in Oxford, NY the daughter of the late Charles and Nina (Ingraham) Cox.  She was also predeceased by her loving husband of 44 years Clifford Barlow, her daughter, Marilyn Davis Sedlak and her brothers Upton, Earl,  Royal and Ronald.
She is survived by her daughters; Brenda (James) Halaburka, Janet Doolittle and her lifelong companion Michael Cordisco, her son Thomas (Katherine) Doolittle, grandchildren, Debra (Harold) Davis Kelly and Jack Goham, Tanya (Steven) Loomis, John (Leann) Sedlak, Justin  (Kelly) Doolittle and Matthew Doolittle and his companion
Casey Bosley;  great grandchildren; Shane (Hilary) Kelly, Caroline (Michael) Hogeboom, Sonya (Anthony) Mattia, Ian Loomis, Carson Sedlak, and Riley Doolittle; great-great grandchildren; Kameron Kelly, Caden and Kendal Hogeboom, and Olivia Mattia as well as many dear friends.

Ruth was a woman who deeply loved her family.  She was a generous and caring person.   Ruth loved her dog  Chance; her devoted companion.  She was an avid gardener and loved to “ play in the dirt”.  Ruth and Clifford loved to dance every Saturday night.
Friends and family are invited to call Monday April 9th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Ernest H Parsons Funeral Home, 71 Main Street, Binghamton, NY.   A Funeral Service officiated by Sister Hermi Naluyima will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m.   Internment will follow at Chenango Valley Cemetery.  Expressions of sympathy in Ruth’s memory may be made to the Broome County Humane Society 2 Jackson Ave, Binghamton, NY   13903.
