Obituary

71 of Waverly NY went to her eternal home on October 4 2021 following an extended illness. Sally was a graduate of Union Endicott High school and a long time member of St. James Church in Waverly.

 

Sally spent many years working in factories including Universal Instruments and Sanmina. In her later years she worked as a home health aide. 

 

Sally was predeceased by her long time companion Timothy O’Brien and her sister Mary Jones. 

 

Sally leaves behind a son Michael Shea (Laura Burdick) and four grandchildren Robert Shea, Samantha Shea, Alexis Shea and Andrew Shea. She also leaves behind sisters Patricia Ivancie, Sophie Strong and Jean Fowler, brothers Steve Fundock and Stanley Fundock. 

 

Sally’s family wishes to extend their gratitude to Sayre Health Care and Guthrie Hospice for their compassionate care of Sally during her illness. 

 

A memorial service has been scheduled for Thursday October 14th, 11:00am at At Luckner Funeral Home, Waverly NY.
